Raising Awareness

Transition Stratford aims to raise awareness of the challenges of climate change and peak oil and to share ideas, information and resources among individuals and communities.

Find out about Transition

Transition Stratford regularly provides exhibition material and information at local events, as well as organising speakers for groups and societies. We’ve had stalls at Aston Cantlow’s Annual Parish Meeting, the Stratford River Festival, Thomas Jolyffe Primary School’s Fun Day, and the Apple Days at Mary Arden’s Farm – where Harvest Share apple juice was available to buy. We’ve given talks to Stratford Probus Club and the Avon Probus Club and to staff at Orbit Heart of England Housing Association.

We also give talks to a wide range of local organisations, including Rotary, the Soroptimists, Trinity Mead Residents Association, Bishopston Residents association and CRUSE. And in September 2012, we supported the Welcombe Hills Special School Green Day. Get in touch if you would like a speaker or other support for your meeting or event.
